I woke up this morning a bit distressed about the state of our nation. This led me to your piece Steve LeVine. It certainly will be interesting to see how the dynamics you are talking about here eventually shake out.

Back in the mid to late ’80s as a healthcare HR executive, our hospital had a number of epic battles with unions. While my allegiance at the time was with management, I found myself very sympathetic to many of the worker demands.

You are correct though Steve in terms of the whole new ballgame that about to emerge with COVID-19 serving as a leveraging tool for worker demands. BUT I believe the big elephant in the room is whether we’ll see some form of Universal Basic Income in the coming years. Andrew Yang’s book “The War On Normal People” is a great read for the times that we in, offering a thoughtful look at what might lie ahead.
